Create a Wanted: A Good Friend poster. Use color, be neat and include at least ten different qualities that a good friend should have. Be creative! I look forward to seeing your designs.
I will be out of the school building this week and we have a couple substitutes. Create a Venn Diagram with overlapping circles. Label one Good Friends and the other Poor Friends. Compare and contrast them. Also complete the Relationships and Balloon Charts in the Monday box at school. I apologize I am already out of the building and do not have those scanned.
We learned about Sorry Day in Australia and then how to give a heartfelt, proper apology using All About My Relationships. Be sure to grab the paper in the Friday box at school.
Make it right
On the organizer, write a different quality in each box of something that would add to a strong family unit. Also, write how you could do that. EXAMPLE: Kindess - make someone's bed Do not forget to answer the two-part question on the bottom of the paper as well.

As a class we did some activities that showed the importance of getting out of risky situations early and deciding beforehand which types of choices we would or wouldn't make.
We learned about a refusal skill called S.T.O.P.
